Hodgson on SFFAudio podcast

I hope that everyone will give it a listen and let me know what you think.  I talked a lot about Hodgson (maybe even more than Jesse wanted! lol) and dropped a lot of info about WHH.  Hope you like it!

If you go to the homepage of SFFAudio, it is podcast #219.–Sam Gafford

This was really great. It felt like an audio overview of your blog. Thanks for all you’re doing to spread the word. As for your suggestion that you gave Jesse more than he wanted to know, both he and Mike seemed completely engaged with what you were saying, so I’d say your suspicions are unfounded 🙂

To me, it always seemed like when writing “House on the Borderland”, Hodgson took two different stories he’d been working on (an action-horror story and a more intellectual horror story) and then squished them together. Sometimes, I honestly think it would have been better as two completely separate stories.

It’s interesting what Jesse said about audiobooks and reading working better as a social activity because I recently found a site (hodgecast.blogspot.com) that has an audio reading of “The Boats of the Glen Carrig”.
